Southington Teen Who Left Home Through a Window Found Quickly

He left home Monday morning, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A a Southington teen who apparently left his house by climbing through a window, was found unharmed, police said.

Southington police said that on Monday at 6:09 a.m., they received a report of a missing juvenile from Carter Lane in Southington. A Silver Alert was issued.

The juvenile, Logan Gibbons, 15, left his residence at some point during the overnight hours through a bedroom window.

Hew was found by 10:12 a.m., police said.

Gibbons is being described by police as a white male, 5-foot-8 and 120 pounds with green eyes, short blond hair with a "pale complexion."

Gibbons is autistic, has left the home in the past and has been located at various locations within the Town of Southington, police said. He loves to swim and has been known to jump into pools in order to cool off if he becomes hot, police said.

police did not say where he was found.

The Southington Police Department Patrol Division and a canine unit had been searching for Gibbons.
