Southington Apartment Raided In Firearms Investigation
A Southington apartment was raided on Tuesday by local and federal authorities.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington residence was raided on Tuesday by local and federal authorities.
Southington police weren't saying much Tuesday morning, only to point out that a search warrant was executed by Southington police, with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, at an apartment on Darling Street.
The warrant was the result of a joint investigation into possible illegal possession and/or sales of a firearm, police said.

The Central Region Emergency Response Team assisted with the serving of the search warrant.
The warrant was served without incident, police said.
