Southington Bar Altercation Leads To Charges: Police
An altercation at a Southington bar led to charges for a Bristol man, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — What started as an altercation at a Southington bar led to a Bristol man being brought back to town to face charges, police said.
Miguel Serrano, 28, of Bristol, was charged on April 1 with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace along with third-degree assault, police said.
His troubles began at the 75 Center bar, police said. Serrano was in an altercation that filtered into Bristol, where he was eventually arrested.

Southington police then applied for a warrant, according to a report. He is also accused of sending threatening text messages, police said.
Serano was held on a $15,000 bond, which was maintained at his arraignment. He remained in custody on Monday and is due back in court on May 2, according to judicial system records.
