Southington Baseball Garners Votes in Latest Poll

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Amity Regional maintained its season-long hold on first place in the weekly high school baseball poll, but two other teams earned the top spots on some ballots.

Amity (18-2) was the top pick of five of nine ballots cast, with Tolland collecting three first-place votes and Ellington one.

Southington (15-5) did not make the top 10, but received some voter support in the latest balloting.

Here are the top 10, with regular season records through May 24:
