Southington Boys Volleyball Opening Tournament at Home
The Blue Knights are seeking their second Class L championship, and first since 2010.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — As brackets for the CIAC boys volleyball championships were released Friday morning, Southington High School found itself beginning its quest for a second state title with a home match.
The Blue Knights are the fifth seed in Class L as they seek to duplicate their championship season of 2010. They open the tournament by hosting No. 12 Shelton Wednesday.
The top seeds for the two state tournaments are Staples (Class L) and Newington (Class M).
