Southington Captures CCC Wrestling Tournament
Grapplers from seven different area schools won their individual weight classes.

BERLIN, CT — Southington High School demonstrated why it is consistently ranked in Connecticut's top five wrestling programs by winning the Central Connecticut Conference tournament Saturday at Berlin High School.
Led by four individual weight class champions, the Blue Knights compiled 176.5 points to easily outdistance East Hartford, which had 151.5. Simsbury was third with 142.5.
Individuals from seven different schools captured individual weight class titles. East Hartford had three, Simsbury, Tolland and Avon had two apiece, and Berlin and E.O. Smith each had one.
