Southington Care Center hosts Thanksgiving Pie Sale

SOUTHINGTON - There is no need to bake for Thanksgiving: The Thanksgiving Pie Sale is being held at Southington Care Center to support its Sunshine Committee. The 10-inch pies, which include apple, blueberry, fruits of the forest, pecan, pumpkin, banana cream and chocolate cream, are $10 each.

All orders are due by Wednesday, Nov. 15 and payment must be made at time of order. Cash and checks made out to “SCC Sunshine Committee” will be accepted. Orders and payment can be dropped off or sent (checks only) to Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave., Southington, CT 06489. The Sunshine Committee is a “helping hands” goodwill committee.

Pies can be picked up at Southington Care Center on Monday, Nov. 20, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
