Southington Chamber Honors Local Leaders At Massive Fundraiser
The Southington Chamber's annual gala last week recognized business and community leaders at its major fundraiser.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Regional Chamber of Commerce recognized local business and community leaders during its annual gala and awards ceremony on Thursday, March 26, at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.
The event served as the chamber’s annual meeting and a major fundraiser, featuring a dinner and silent auction.
The program highlighted individuals and organizations for their contributions to the greater Southington community.

Honorees included Anthony Denorfia, named Business Person of the Year; Dennis Crispino, Industry Leader of the Year; and Tracy Aparo, Chamber Business Member of the Year.
Additional awards went to Luke Florian, Renaissance Award; Michael Baker, Citizenship Award; Janice Freschlin, Volunteer of the Year; Graham Nicholson, Community Spirit Award; and Christine Utting, Employee of the Year.

The American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 was recognized as Veteran Service Organization of the Year.
Opening ceremonies included a tribute to U.S. military service members and veterans, including those affiliated with Kiltonic Post 72.
The chamber said the awards program recognizes “dedication, leadership, and valued contributions” from business professionals and community leaders across Southington.
The annual gathering, sometimes referred to as the chamber’s “Evening of Excellence,” also acknowledged sponsors and contributors supporting the organization’s work.
