Southington Changes Where Transfer Station Passes Are Sold

The new location to get bulky waste transfer station passes goes into effect on Thursday, Jan. 2.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Starting with the new year, folks looking to get passes for the Southington Transfer Station will have to get them at a new location.

The Town of Southington recently announced that passes will now be available in the Southington Tax Collector's Office starting Thursday, Jan. 2.

Hours for the availability of the passes have yet to be finalized, but those purchasing passes must provide a license and vehicle registration per standard procedure.

In addition to new passes, existing passes can be renewed at the tax collector's office.

The transfer station is located at 617 Old Turnpike Road, Plantsville, while the Southington Tax Collector's Office is at Southington Town Hall, 75 Main St., Southington.
