Southington Company Sent Public Services Bill for Chemical Spill
The invoice was sent by fire and police officials.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington company has been sent a tab for more than $45,000 by the fire and police departments for an August chemical spill,the Record-Journal Reported.
On Aug. 24, 350 gallons of hexavalent chromium spilled from a tank on the roof of Light Metal Coloring, at 270 Spring St. Some of the chemical flowed from the building to a nearby storm drain and into the Quinnipiac River, police and town official said.
