Southington Cops, Dispatchers Take The Plunge For Camp Sloper
The SPD braved the cold water to raise money for Camp Sloper.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police officers and staffers braved a little cold water over the weekend for a good cause.
On Feb. 26, The SPD, along with several with other community organizations, participated in the 17th annual Sloper Plunge. In all, the event raised more than $100,000 for children to attend summer camp.
Members of the department participating were Chief Jack Daly, Master Sergeant Nathan Boislard, Sergeant Justin Burke, Sergeant Matthew Hammell, Officer Jimmy Valentine, Officer Timothy Bradle, Officer Bill Thomson, Officer Steven Schlitten, Officer Lauren Verab, Officer Ryan Post, Officer Mark DiBattista, Officer Joseph Mayo, Officer Joseph Richard, Officer Evan Olsson, Dispatcher Jose Luna-Peg.
