Police said Polumbo was involved in an argument with the woman and when she attempted to
walk out of the room, Polumbo allegedly blocked the door and pushed the woman onto the bed.

She attempted to leave the room three or four times with the same result, according to a police report.

The argument escalated and when the woman attempted to call 911 from the room phone, Polumbo pushed the "end" button on the receiver before the woman could speak with dispatchers, according to a police report.

Polumbo allegedly blocked the door again and then snapped the woman's eyeglasses, smashed an Xbox on the ground and began throwing things around the room, according to a police report.

Polumbo also punched holes in a bathroom wall, according to a police report.

The woman was eventually able to call 911 and make contact with dispatchers, police said.

Police also found that two outstanding warrants were circulating for Palumbo's arrest.

The first warrant stems from an incident that took place on Sept. 5 in which Polumbo allegedly broke two side view mirrors off of a vehicle that was parked in the Groggy Frogg parking lot, according to a police report.

It was also reported that Polumbo took $6 in change and a two wrenches valued at $60 from inside the vehicle.

The vehicle is owned by an acquaintance of Polumbo’s, police said.

Polumbo was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny, according to a police report.

Officers also received a report that after the incident at the Groggy Frogg, Polumbo walked up Center Street and vandalized a second vehicle — a tow truck that was parked on Center Street, according to a police report.

He allegedly tore the passenger side mirror off of the tow truck and tossed it into the bed of another truck, according to a police report.

Polumbo was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, according to a police report.

He has a scheduled court date of Oct. 11 for the warrant arrests, according to a police report.
