Southington Developer Seeks to Purchase Vacant Naugatuck School Building: Report
A deal could be voted on tonight.

NAUGATUCK, CT - Borough leaders goal of getting the now vacant Prospect Street Elementary School building back on the tax rolls is much closer to becoming a reality.
Tonight officials will vote on whether to approve Florian Properties of Southington’s contract proposal, which could lead to the purchase of the 41,000-square-foot facility for $300,000, the Republican-American reports.
Plans include moving a fitness center into a portion of the space, the Rep-Am reports. Florian is known for revitalizing several buildings in Southington.
