Southington Election Results 2018: How Locals Voted

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Voters went to the polls in Southington Tuesday to cast ballots in Connecticut's statewide election. It appears the current state speaker of the house, Joe Aresimowicz, has narrowly won re-election, according to "unofficial" secretary of the state results.

Here's how Southington voted in the 30th District race:

• Joe Aresimowicz (D): 2,026
• Michael Gagliardi (R): 2,437
• Joe Aresimowicz (WF): 154

And the district:

• Joe Aresimowicz (D): 5,874
• Michael Gagliardi (R): 5,855

Matt Jalowiec won the probate judge election without oppostition with 14,972 votes on the Democratic line and 16,475 on the Republican line.
