"Shall the Town of Southington appropriate $16,900,000 for construction of a new library facility at 255 Main Street, demolition of the existing facility, and related site improvements; and authorizing the issue of $16,900,000 bonds and notes to finance the appropriation?"

Unofficial results from the town clerk indicate the yes votes totaled 6,896 and the not votes were 4,922.

Official results were not yet available as of 7 a.m. Wednesday from the office of Secretary of the State Denise Merrill. A problem with a third-party vendor which manages election information for the secretary's website has prevented results from being displayed.
