Southington FD Swears In New Battalion Chief
Joins three others sworn into the department earlier this week.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The ranks of the Southington Fire Department continued to evolve Thursday with the swearing in of another top fire department official.
The department Thursday announced that Keith Glabau was sworn in as an SFD battalion chief at Southington Town Hall.
'"Congratulations to Battalion Chief Glabau who was sworn in today at town hall," wrote the SFD on social media.

Glabau's swearing in comes as the department earlier in the week swore in a new deputy chief, lieutenant and welcomed a new firefighter/EMT in its ranks.
