Southington Firehouse Reopens After Safety Renovations
A firehouse in Southington is a lot safer after federally funded renovations.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Squad 5 of the Southington Fire Department has officially moved into its renovated station.
Station 5 opened back up Friday following the completion of a renovation project designed to install sprinklers.
The safety improvement was funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.
