Southington Gets Votes In Girls Basketball Poll
The Blue Knights have won eight of their last nine outings to earn points in the most recent balloting.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A hot stretch of eight victories in nine contests has earned the Southington High Schoolgirls basketball team some votes in the most recent poll of coaches and media members.
The only loss for the Blue Knights (12-5) since the first week of January came at the hands of Simsbury, ranked third in the state. Southington will play a pair of road games this week, at Suffield Tuesday and Conard Friday.
Mercy (17-0) again edged New London (17-0) for the top spot in this week's poll.
