Southington GOP Has Axes To Grind (And Throw)

SOUTHINGTON, CT — In politics, many folks have an ax to grind.

But the Southington Republican Town Committee early next month is hoping for a few good axes to throw.

But, don't worry, it's all in fun and is a party fund-raiser called "SRTC Ax Throwing at Montana Nights."

It will take place on Friday, Feb. 2, at Montana Nights Southinton, which is located at 168 Center St., Southington.

The GOP fund-raiser is from 6 to 8 p.m., with guests asked to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for registration.

Food is provided and the fund-raiser features a cash bar and axes to throw.

Montana Nights is a chain of entertainment facilities featuring food, drink, games for the family ... and, of course, axes to throw at targets.

The cost for this event is $60 per person.
