Southington Gridders Still Near Top of Pack
The Blue Knights reached the season's midpoint with a perfect 5-0 record.

Undefeated Darien is still reigning as top dog in Connecticut high school football, receiving all 24 first-place votes in the latest weekly poll of media members, compiled by GameTimeCT/New Haven Register.
Southington (5-0), which had a bye last week, maintained its spot in second position in the most recent balloting.
