Southington High School Students Charged After Fight
The altercation took place at the school, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Two Southington High School studenst have been charged after a lunchtime fight at the school on Monday, police said.
As a result of the altercation, Tyson Harris, 18 of Southington was taken into custody and charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer, police said.
He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court appearance of March 27, police said.

The other participant in the altercation was a juvenile, police said. He was issued a juvenile summons for breach of peace and third-degree assault, police said.
Both students entered into the altercation and both suffered minor injuries as a result, police said.

Harris would not comply with an officer’s instructions and commands during the investigation and had to be physically taken into custody as a result, police said.
