Southington To Host Kindergarten Info Night At DePaolo Middle School

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington Public Schools will host a Kindergarten Registration Information Session on Monday, March 9, for families with children entering kindergarten in the 2026–27 school year.

The session is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St., Southington. A snow date is set for Monday, March 16.

According to Southington Assistant Superintendent Frank Pepe, the event will provide parents and guardians with general information about the registration process and what a typical day looks like for a kindergartener.

An opportunity to pre-register children for kindergarten will begin at 5:30 p.m., before the formal presentation.

School officials said details specific to individual elementary schools will be shared at a later time.

Families who are unsure which school their child will attend are encouraged to consult the district’s online school directory.
