Southington Land Acquisition Plan Supported By Voters
Southington voters on Tuesday approved nearly $3 million for a land acquisition plan.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington voters on Tuesday approved nearly $3 million for a land acquisition plan. A question regarding it greeted voters atop the ballot as part of the 2019 Southington municipal election.
The amount in question was $2.93 million and it was part of a plan to acquire property at the John Weischsel Muncipal Center and the issuance of bonds to help pay for a portion of it.
Voters responded with a resounding endorsement.
