Southington Land Trust Offering Christmas Tree Pickups

The program is part of the fundraiser.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Land Trust will pickup and recycle discarded Christmas trees after the holiday season as part of a fundraiser.

Donations of $15 will not only get the trees recycled, but go directly to the land trust for the purpose of conserving land and wildlife habitat within Southington, officials said.

The Christmas trees will be turned into wood chips to be used at Camp Sloper.
