Southington Library/Museum To Celebrate End Of Summer Reading Program

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Barnes Museum and Southington Public Library on Saturday is celebrating the end of its summer reading program.

For much of Saturday, Aug. 12, the library/museum is hosting its "Bounce House and Book Bonanza @ The Barnes."

This free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum, which is located at 85 N. Main St., Southington.

"Join us as we celebrate the end of the Library's Summer Reading Program at the Barnes Museum," wrote the museum in an event announcement.

As part of the program, children of all ages and their "favorite adults" can pick up a free book and get a free tour of the first level of the town's history/art museum.

The bounce house is specifically for children aged 4 and up.
