Southington Library Selling Books Cheap ... Very Cheap

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Looking for some inexpensive summer reading while there is still month left in the season?

The Southington Friends of the Library can help.

The booster organization supporting the Southington Public Library operates an online bookstore where all sorts of titles can be purchased.

And, the store is currently conducting a clearance sale where reading and audio materials can be had for, literally $1 or less.

In fact, many titles are 25 cents for paperbacks and 50 cents for audio books.

It's a major reason why the library group is urging folks to order now, like they did on Tuesday, before the materials all disappear.

Of course, the more materials folks buy, the better the library makes out as all proceeds benefit library programs, something critical as a new Southington Public Library is already nearly complete.
