Southington Lions Club Donates Camp Sloper Scholarships
The Southington Lions are Sending kids to camp.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs has received from the Southington Lions Club $1,500 for YMCA Camp Sloper scholarships.
The scholarships will provide children without the financial means to pay for camp , officials said.
It's not the the first time the Southington Lions Club has supported YMCA Camp Sloper. In 2008, the organization donated the basketball courts at the camp.
