Southington Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize
The winning ticket was sold at a local supermarket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local supermarket sold a pretty lucrative lottery ticket Monday to an unidentified, but very lucky, individual.
The winner hailed from Plantsville, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., and the winning Mega Millions ticket wasn't for millions, but it did result in a $20,000 payout.
That's not a bad investment, considering playing the drawing game costs a minimum of $2 to play, not including prize multiplier options.
