Southington Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child: State Police
The incident in question occurred in Haddam last November, police said.

SOUTHINGTON/HADDAM, CT — A 21-year-old Southington man was accused Monday of sexual assaulting a minor under the age of 16 in Haddam last year.
According to the Connecticut State Police Tuesday, Dylan Martin, 21, of Southington, was charged with risk of injury to a minor; illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16; third-degree possession of child pornography; and second-degree sexual assault.
Police said Martin was later released from custody on a $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Jan. 28.

According to state police, on Monday, Jan. 20, at approximately 9:02 a.m., Martin was located at his residence by troopers and taken into custody without incident after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Police said the warrant stemmed from an investigation that began in November 2024 after state police personnel were advised by the Hampden County, Mass., State's Attorney's Office of a sexual assault alleged to have occurred in late October 2024 in the Town of Haddam.
