Southington Man Arrested After Allegedly Burning Flag
He was charged with mutilation of the flag among other charges.

A Southington man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught on video burning an American flag that was attached to a mailbox.
Police started investigating on Dec. 27 around 11:30 p.m. after a Sunnyridge Drive resident reported that a small flag affixed to his mailbox was lit on fire, said Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz, police spokesman.
The complainant said he observed the incident on his video surveillance system.

The investigation led police to Kyle LeBlanc, 20, of Southington, who was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second,degree breach of peace and mutilation of the flag.
