Southington Man Arrested in Assault Case

A Southington man was arrested in an assault case.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington man has been arrested for assault, police said.

On Jan. 2, David Forgione, 59, of Southington was arrested for second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening, police said.

The arrest was the result of an argument during which he allegedly threatened someone if the police were called, according to an arrest report. Forgione also allegedly struck the victim in the face causing a minor injury to the victim’s lip, police said.
