Southington Man Charged With DUI After Motor Vehicle Accident: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Southington man is accused of being under the influence of alcohol when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Milford, police said. On Oct. 1, officers responded to the area of Boston Post Road and East Town Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident.

Investigation led to the arrest of Scott Capalso, 49, of Berlin Avenue, whose vehicle was crashed into the rear of another vehicle, police said.

He is accused of driving his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, police said. Capaldo provided a breath sample, which showed him to have an elevated blood alcohol content, police said.

He is charged with DUI and initially held in lieu of a $500 bond.
