Southington Man in Custody After Being Arrested Twice in 5 Days
A man was arrested at a Southington motel days after a similar incident.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man failed to make bail after an incident at a Southington hotel, his second arrest in five days, records indicate.
On Jan. 2, Antwion Tucker, 31, of Southington, was taken into custody and charged with
disorderly conduct and violating a protective order, police said.

Tucker was held on a $10,000 bond, appeared in court the following day, but failed to post the bond, even though it was cut in half, court records indicate. He is slated to return to court on Jan. 23, according to court records.
At 10:10 p.m. on Jan 2, officers were dispatched to the Motel 6 at 625 Queen St. for a domestic dispute.

While at Motel 6, Tucker and the victim in the case were in a verbal argument, and the victim was allegedly smacked in the face and shoved with some type of object, police said.
The victim declined medical attention on scene, police said.
Tucker's violated an active protective order that was issued on Dec. 29, after he was arrested the previous say for breach of peace in an altercation with the came person, court and police records indicate.
