Southington Man Facing Fraud Charges For Commandeering Ex-Wife's Starbucks Card

He was arrested this week and is due in court at the end of the month.

SOUTHINGTON, CT —A local man has been charged with credit card theft for illegally using his ex-wife's Starbucks loyalty account to rack up purchases, police said.

Nathan Carl Plourde, 43, of Fern Drive, Southington, was charged this week with fourth-degree larceny, credit card theft and card fraud, police said.

He was released on a $5,000 bond and is due in court Nov. 28, police said.

The charge's on Plourde's ex-wife Starbucks card amounted to more than $1,400, police said, in a case that dates back to August.
