Southington Man In Good Spirits After Massive Lotto Win

He won the maximum payout from a scratch-off game last week.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local man is in a very good mood these days after a purchase at a local liquor store last week — and its not because of what is usually purchased there.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Southington resident Christopher Borkowski was in fine spirits after winning a cool half million dollars, winning the maximum $500,000 prize.

The game he played is called $500,000 Extravaganza! Second Edition, a high-paying scratch-off game that costs $20 to play.
