Southington Man Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash: Police
The motorcycle operator was involved in a crash with a truck Wednesday in Cheshire.
CHESHIRE, CT — A Southington man suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a truck Wednesday in Cheshire, police said in a Thursday afternoon update. Matthew Garuti was identified by police as the operator of the motorcycle while the truck was operated by Eric Passmore of Rosenberg, Texas.
South Meriden Road (Route 70) was closed at its intersection with Country Club Road and Reservoir Road for several hours on Wednesday due to the crash.
The accident is still under investigation, according to Lt. Jeffrey Sutherland.
