Southington Man Stole Hundreds of Dollars of Headache, Pain Medicine in Naugatuck: Police

The incident occurred at the Naugatuck Stop & Shop. A second person was also charged, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT - A Southington man and a Naugatuck resident were charged recently with allegedly stealing nearly $500 in headache and pain medicine, police said in a report.

Police say Philip Kelley, 38, of South Center Street in Southington and Jamie Perugini, 36, of Walnut Street in Naugatuk were arrested on a warrant recently for a larceny incident at Stop & Shop on March 31.

Kelley and Perugini are accused of taking Excedrin, Aleve, Advil, and Tylenol totalling $471.41, police said.

They were each charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. They were initially held on a $15,000 bond.
