Southington Moves Up In Latest Wrestling Poll

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The top 10 high school wrestling teams in Connecticut remained the same in the most recent weekly poll of coaches and media members, albeit in a slightly different order.

Danbury, as usual, received all 18 first-place votes to easily outdistance Bristol Eastern, which retained its hammerlock on second place. Southington moved up a spot into third, switching places with Fairfield Warde.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other programs gathering votes.
