Southington Near Top of State Football Poll

Darien High School was the clear-cut favorite among voters in the most recent GameTimeCT.com football poll, receiving 23 of 26 first-place ballots.

St. Joseph (2) and Ansonia (1) received the other top votes.

Southington (2-0) placed second after two weeks of the regular season.
