Southington Nurse Facing State Fine in Drug Case

The state Board of Examiners for Nursing this week disciplined a Southington nurse.

SOUTHNGTON, CT — The state Board of Examiners for Nursing this week disciplined a Southington nurse in a drug-related case, according to the latest report from the Connecticut Health I-Team.

According to the report, Ashley Dizney of Southington, a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse, agreed to pay a $1,000 fine for "abusing Fentanyl to excess."

She was also placed on probation, according to the report.
