Emilie (Bachtrog) Nowak, 87, of Southington, passed away April 17, 2017 at the Summit at Plantsville. She was the beloved wife of Fredrick H. Nowak, and were married for 65 years.
She was born Dec. 28, 1929 in Austria, and was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She leaves her children, Edward Nowak of Southington and Linda Belcourt and husband Ronald of Westbrook. She also leaves her grandchildren Edward Nowak of Bristol and Laura Lanza and husband Brandon of Plainville, and a great grandson Orion Lanza. She leaves a brother Hans Bachtrog of Austria.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 138 River St. Southington, May 6, at 1 p.m. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
