Helen (Papadoupoulis) Unaris, 91, of Southington, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Arthur Unaris, who was the former co-owner of Capitol Lunch in New Britain.
She was born in Greece on March 7, 1925, a devoted communicant of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in New Britain. She valued her family and friends.
She is survived by her son John Unaris of Southington, 2 grandsons Ignatios "Gus" Ververis of Plainville and Arthur Ververis of Unionville. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Stasia Ververis.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2016 at 9 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 301 W. Main St; New Britain at 10 am. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain. Calling hours will be Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Trisagion prayer will be held at 6:30 pm.
