Southington Obituary: Janet DePaulo, 82

Janet A. (Woods) DePaulo, 82, of Southington and formerly of Bristol, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Cheshire Regional Rehab Center. She had been the loving wife of the late Stephen J. DePaulo for 44 years.

Janet was born on Dec. 4, 1933 in Newport Township, PA to the late Charles and Sarah (Schad) Woods.

She is survived by her devoted son Scott DePaulo and his wife Valerie of Wallingford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers: Raymond, John and Donald Woods.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Calling hours will be held before the service from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
