Michael A. Amorando, 88, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Village Green of Bristol. He had been the loving husband of the late Jean R. (Provenzano) Amorando.
Michael was born on January 30, 1928 in Pennsylvania. He worked for many years as a landscaper and was passionate about gardening and flowers.
He is survived by two sons: Ronald Amorando of Southington, Allen Amorando and his wife Susan of New Milford and one daughter, Judy Deninger and her husband Wilbur of Milford; four grandchildren: Allen Amorando and his wife Kari of New Milford; Jessica Amorando; Jacob Amorando of New Milford and Elizabeth Deninger and two great-grandchildren: Adam and Alyssa. He is also survived by his brother William Amorando of Trumbull and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael P. Amorando, one sister, Yolanda Ferrero and three brothers: Joseph, Angelo and James Amorando.
