Southington Obituary: Patricia Johnson, 93

Patricia Nell (McKibben) Johnson, 93, loving wife of the late Merlin Allen Johnson, passed away peacefully at Southington Care Center on Saturday (December 9, 2017).

She was born in Mt. Olivet, KY. on February 10, 1924 a daughter of the late Walter and Maude (McCracken) McKibben. Patricia retired from Hartford Insurance Co. after 20 years of dedicated service. She loved dancing and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her daughters, Linda Hadlock and her husband Edward Pahl of Clermont, FL. and Nancy Smith and her husband Paul of Southington and Clermont, FL.; her grandchildren, Scott Hadlock and his wife Michele of Southington and Michael Hadlock of Bristol. She also leaves three great grandchildren, Paige, Sarah, and Abigail; and her very devoted and dear friend Larry Papanic. She was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Barnett.

Patricia's family wishes to thank the staff of Southington Care Center for their dedicated and compassionate care.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of First Congregational Church of Southington, 37 Main St. Southington. A private burial will be held in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
