
Robert J. May, 50, of Farmington passed away Saturday January 14, 2017 at the University of Connecticut Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born March 20, 1966 in New Britain the son of William May of Plainville and Helen (Pelletier) (May) Corriveau of Farmington. He attended schools in Plainville and Bristol and was a graduate of New England Technical Institute studying Auto Body Repair. He was employed at Walmart in Southington in the maintenance department for many years.
Robert proudly served his country in the US Army. He was an avid reader and enjoyed movies, trivia and animals, but mostly he loved spending time with family and friends.

Besides his parents he leaves his sisters, Lori May of Southington, Donna Petrafassi of Cheshire and Therian May of California, his nieces Nichole and Bianca Petrafassi and Michele Cyr, his aunt and uncle Elaine and John Cyr, his step mother, June May of Plainville, his step brother Justin Kimble and many other family members and close friends.
Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
