Southington Obituary: Tessie Gaynor, 96

Tessie T. (Dabrowski) Gaynor, 96, of Southington, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Southington Care Center. She was the wife of the late George Gaynor.

She was born in Southington on Sept. 11, 1920, the daughter of the late Teofil and Helen (Franzkowki) Dabrowski. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and a longtime member of their Rosary Society. Tessie loved knitting and she loved to travel.

She is survived by her daughter Marcella Palmisano of Northampton, MA, a brother Chet Dabrowski and a sister Pauline Stefanowicz both of Southington, a niece and 2 nephews, Kathy Kovacs and husband Terry, David Dabrowski and Brian Stefanowicz and wife Joan She was predeceased by a son-in-law Donald Palmisano a nephew Leon Stefanowicz and a niece Beverly Dabrowski.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southington Care for the tender care and concern.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St. Plantsville. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9-10am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
