
Vincenza (Sabino) Izzo, 77, of Southington, passed away on Friday, April 15th at Mid-State Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife to her devoted husband Emanuele Izzo.
She was born on July 4, 1938 in Treglia, Italy the daughter of the late Giovanni and Giovannina (Marra) Sabino. Vincenza worked as an exceptionally skilled seamstress. She took great joy in cooking and caring for her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her loving children, Vincent Izzo and wife Robyn of Southington, Joanne Debowsky and husband Drew of East Hampton, Emanuele Izzo Jr. and wife Carrolyn of Southington and John Izzo of Meriden, eight cherished grandchildren Alexis, Jacqueline, Tanner, Jarrett, Peyton, Emanuele, Jacob and Dominic. She also leaves a brother Antonio Sabino and wife Lidia, two sisters Angelina DelNero and Agnese Izzo and husband Michele all of Meriden. She was predeceased by a brother Marcellino Sabino.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mid-State in the Telemetry Unit for their compassionate care.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 9:45am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St. Plantsville at 10:30 am for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 20th from 5-8 pm.
