Southington Officials Say Memorial Pond Skating Plan Has Melted Away

SOUTHINGTON, CT — There will be no skating at at Memorial Pond this winter, recreation officials told the Record-Journal.

Lighting and other improvements at the park need to be completed, first, according to the story.

Public skating sessions will remain at the rink near the Farmington Canal Heritage trail, town officials have said.
