Southington Owlet Nursed Back to Health, Back in Wild
The owlet was spotted on the ground by concerned citizens and a local bird rehabilitator nursed it back to health.

A great horned owlet was nursed back to health and is back in the wild thanks to concerned Southington citizens and a local bird rehabilitator.
The bird was found on the ground in a park. Jayne Neville of Mount Vernon Songbird Santuary in Southington took the bird back home and had a veternarian assess its health state, according to the Record-Journal.
The owlet was fed and given water and was put back in its nest.
